As soon as you arrived back on Earth (in now-liberated France), the wormhole, through which you rode, luckily was open long enough for the OSS to locate it and for our strike team to travel through to the control station on Celestis. As we speak, the station along with the surrounding area are being secured.
We secured a report, in possession of one of the (now very dead) scientists, detailing a hidden research camp where this mineral - which we now call "Naquadah" - has been massively stockpiled and interlaced with bullets for an expermiental MG-42 emplacement, through the planet's magnetosphere (you may have encountered an early prototype in "map 3"). This development allows the weapon to fire at near light-speed virtually through any object whatsover and is engineered for unparalleled maneuverability - rendering it absolutely unchallengeable on any front.
